Booking & Payment Policies

Hello!

Thank you so very kindly for your interest in booking an appointment with Meg. Whether this is a first appointment or a follow-up appointment, know that I am grateful and honoured to have the opportunity to connect with you!

Please kindly read the following information before finalizing your appointment in the online calendar.

Booking Confirmation & Reminder Notice - Upon confirming your booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. If you checked the box to receive a reminder email, you will also receive a reminder email 72 hours prior to your appointment. This will ensure that you have enough time to meet the 48 hours window to reschedule/cancel your appointment without charge. You can make changes to your appointment in your original booking confirmation email and/or reminder email. If you have any troubles with making changes, please contact your Psychologist (emails below).

Late Cancellation/No Show fee - A late cancellation/no show fee of the full appointment session fee will apply for all appointments rescheduled/cancelled/no showed within 48 hours of the originally confirmed booked appointment time.

Booking ahead & Waitlist- Due to the high volume/demand, clients are welcomed to book ahead into our calendars.

Note: Meg’s schedule is often fully booked by 2-4 weeks, and even greater durations during peak times (e.g. evening appointments) and so, it is always easier to cancel/reschedule an appointment (provided there is the required 48 hours notice) without charge than to try and book in at short notice.

Once booked, please feel welcome to connect with your therapist to be added to the waitlist should anything become available prior to your scheduled appointment; please kindly be sure to include preferred days/times for appointments (if applicable).

Complimentary consultations - If booking a complimentary consultation, please be aware that each client is offered maximum 1 initial complimentary consultation. If an initial consultation is late cancelled/no showed, any future bookings will be booked as a regular session and charged at full session rate.

NOTE: Availability of initial consultations may be paused at any time, for any length of time, due to scheduling capacity. If you do not see the initial complimentary consultation option on the booking page, it means that they are currently not being offered.

Payment Policies - For all bookings, payment is required no later than by the end of the appointment. It is the responsibility of clients to confirm their health benefits/insurance coverage prior to their appointment.

Receipts - I provide full comprehensive receipts for submission to your benefits plan and/or for tax purposes.

Communication Reply/Response time- Please note that due to high demand and volume of inquiries, we will respond to all emails and voicemails within 2 business days. If I do not respond by this time frame, I may have not received your email or voicemail.

I do not consistently have an opportunity to respond over the weekend, so please note that any emails or phone calls received over the weekend will be responded too by Wednesday (at the latest) of that week. Email is the best method of contact due to my work hours.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment by email (and not within the online booking confirmation email), please ensure your email is received prior to the 48 hours cut off time to avoid any late cancellation/no show fees.

Due to safety and liabilities, text messages will not be responded to; please email your therapist if you wish to connect in to change appointments/have questions.
